Please Excuse The Mess

Through November 2015, I will be running an Impossibly Stupid test: to figure out how well a blog can be run by stripping technologies down to their core, and only building up what is fundamentally necessary. The aim being to get away from the lock-in that most content management systems (CMS) seem to impose. To that end, I'm going to try to set up a site structure and workflow that makes it easy to put out something as a “story” without a lot of fuss or muss.

For the time being, you can still reach the old site, but I soon expect to migrate all that content. Except maybe the beard poll, which should stick around through 2016, am I right? So bear with me if you get some errors over the next few days or if some features (e.g., comments) are temporarily missing. Send me an email if there is anything you need fixed sooner rather than later. Otherwise, please enjoy the Impossibly Stupid content you find on this updated site.
